Lacks Enterprises names its first non-family president in 40 years

Effective January 1, 2015, Lacks Enterprises will appoint its first non-Lacks family member as president in forty years — Nick Hrnyak will become President of Lacks Enterprises and will report directly to me. Nick began his career at Lacks Enterprises in 2002.  His skills quickly became apparent and he was promoted to General Manager of Plastic Plate in 2004.  In ten years, Nick took Plastic Plate from a poor stepchild within Lacks Enterprises to a separate, extremely successful business unit within the Lacks Corporate structure.

The promotion of Nick Hrnyak to President of Lacks Enterprises came as a direct result of his business skills in molding Plastic Plate into a viable contributing entity within Lacks Enterprises.  But just as importantly, Nick’s promotion has as much to do with his embracing the corporate culture, his overall character, and his high integrity.  Although Nick’s last name is not Lacks, he is as close to an extension of the Lacks family in his core beliefs as anyone I have come across in my forty years in this company.  I expect that everyone in this organization will join with me in welcoming and supporting Nick Hrnyak in his new role as President of Lacks Enterprises.
